Bethel Public Schools Are Open Thursday On A 2-Hour Delay

From the Bethel Board of Education–

The Bethel Public Schools will reopen tomorrow, November 3rd, on a 2-hour delay schedule.  Schools are open as a service to parents.  No child will be penalized for failure to attend classes on Thursday or Friday.  As with all school days, parents should determine if they will send their child to school. Power has been restored to all schools.  Breakfast and lunch will be available for those who need it.

Bus routes have been checked.  The buses will not completely travel the following roads: Shelly Road, Glenwood Road, Reservoir Road, Bethpage Road, Sharon Court, Hoyt’s Hill between Rt 58 and Governor’s, Redwood Drive, Deepwood Drive. The bus will stop at the nearest safe intersection. Again schools will be open as a service to parents.

Note: No students will be penalized for not attending school Thursday and Friday.
