Ethan Brown Recognized for His Support of the Bethel Public Library

Ethan Brown receives Certificate of Appreciation from Board of Directors Chair Trisha Lewis.

The Bethel Public Library recognized Ethan Brown in a ceremony at the Library on May 31. Ethan was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and the Sponsorship of the Teen Library Reading and Study Booths by Library Director Lynn Rosato and Library Board Chair Trisha Lewis. He was honored for conceiving and organizing the Tau2000 Mathemagics Fundraiser and setting a world record by reciting from memory 2,012 digits of Tau! The May 6 fundraising event featured a mathemagics show, raffles, walk-around magic, KenKen contests, and performer Dezrah the Strange. Individuals and businesses pledged their support for Ethan’s efforts, and all proceeds went to the Bethel Public Library. Thank you to everyone who came out to support “Mathemagician” Ethan Brown and the Library!
