Bethel Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants beginning TuesdayApril 17, 2012 and will be completed in 1 week.  Annual flushing of the hydrants is necessary to provide better quality water and fire protection.  Customers may experience fluctuation in pressure and / or discoloration of their water during flushing.  If they experience discolored water, run your cold water tap until it’s clear.  During periods of discoloration, postpone washing clothes and limit your use of hot water until the cold water clears.
